Rewilding Fund

Rather than a honeymoon trip, our next project is to buy a plot of degraded agricultural land, either in Italy or South Africa (or both!), and bring it back to life. We would plant a rich biodiversity of flora, from forests to wildflower meadows. We would engineer the landscape to conserve freshwater. And we would add ecosystem engineers, from beavers to woodpeckers, to build homes for other species. This is not a project that is done overnight. It's a lifelong investment, like marriage. And we hope to one day also share and enjoy the fruits of our labour with our kids.  

 

Any financial contribution you can make, however big or small, will bring us closer to realising our re-wilding ambitions.
